MoCCAfest 2009

This past weekend was the MoCCA Festival, put on by the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art – MoCCA.org. SVA was well represented with a table in the exhibition hall staffed by students and faculty from our Cartooning Department. SVA’s talented Cartooning alumni were also the focus of a panel, The Astonishing SVA Roundtable, moderated by SVA faculty member Tom Hart with Nick Breutzman, Jessica Fink, Eric Feurstein, Dash Shaw, Jennifer Tong, and Nate Powell.
Another SVA instructor’s work is currently the feature exhibit at MoCCA: Sounds and Pauses The Comics of David Mazzucchelli
