Food For Fines

For the last week and a half of classes,

*December 10th – 19th*

The Library will be accepting non-perishable food donations in exchange for fines.

Lower your fines while contributing to a good cause!

*1 can = $1 off your fines. Drop off all donations at the Circulation Desk and make sure to get a receipt.

*Offer cannot be use to pay for replacement or processing costs.

City Harvest, a non-profit organization to help feed New York’s hungry, will be receiving all the donations for distribution.

*Suggested Shopping List:

Canned chicken, salmon, ham, tuna, chili, stews vegetables; packaged soup mixes, shelf stable 100% juice and juice boxes; canned infant formula with iron; pagkaged whole grain cereals, whole grain rice; packaged or canned pasta; dried or canned black, kidney, pinto & garbanzo beans; canned fruit an dapplesauce; peanut butter in plastic jars.

Sorry, we cannot accept Ramen noodles or anything that is perishable or packaged in glass containers (except baby food).
