Video Games: Art and Design

2012 Student Thesis Montage Reel from SVA Computer Art on Vimeo.

SVA was recently listed as one of the top Animation and Game Design schools on the East Coast by Animation Career Review. Our Animation program has long been among the top in the country, but Game Design is a newer element of our instruction.

The SVA Library started carrying XBox and PS3 games not just for fun, but so our budding game designers and faculty can keep up with developments in the field. We have also been adding to our collection of books on game design. As always, if you know of a title that we don’t carry, but should, tell us about it by making a Purchase Request through the website. If we do add it to the collection, you will get first dibs on it.

To make a request: > Student Life > Library > Request Forms > Purchase Request
